After an appetizer of games in Week 0, we have our first full slate of the 2023 college football season this weekend in Week 1.

There's a wide assortment of games to choose from in Week 1 with teams Alabama getting started against Middle Tennessee State while its SEC West rival LSU starts in the marquee matchup of the week, taking on Florida State on a neutral field.

This week is unique with a handful of games on Thursday and Friday in addition to Sunday and Monday. While a majority of the games are on Saturday as is the norm for college football, the likes of Utah (home against Florida) and North Carolina State (at Connecticut) get started on Thursday evening.

Given that it's Labor Day Weekend and there are a few neutral site games to start the season there's plenty of intriguing matchups to choose from. A new look Louisville team will play in Atlanta against ACC foe Georgia Tech on Friday night while North Carolina and South Carolina face off in Charlotte.
