Seven games may feel like peanuts once Week 1 of the 2022 college football season actually begins, but for now, Week 0's slate of FBS matchups is a fun appetizer to get us to the main course of a massive Thursday-Monday slate for the week ahead.

The matchups begin with two Big Ten teams playing a conference game in their first meeting of the year, as both Nebraska and Northwestern travel to Dublin, Ireland for their season opener with the Huskers as a 12.5-point favorite.

Another Big Ten team also kicks off their season in Week 0, as the University of Illinois welcomes in Wyoming from the Mountain West.

Nevada opens up their schedule later that evening against Independent New Mexico State, while Vanderbilt out of the SEC headlines the final game of the slate on the road in Honolulu vs. the University of Hawaii.
