Michigan State (+170) Upsets Michigan

The Michigan State Spartans are undefeated and home underdogs against undefeated Michigan in Week 9.

It’s a rivalry matchup, and while both teams are going to try and run the ball, I think Michigan State has a much more balanced offense to win this game.

The fact that the Spartans have continued to get overlooked all season may worry some bettors, but I think this team is for real and will make a statement at home against the Wolverines. -- Peter Dewey

UCLA (+200) Upsets Utah

This is a fantastic bounce back spot for the UCLA Bruins. UCLA is 25th in run play percentage and are averaging 5.0 yards per carry on the season. The Bruins should find success on the ground in this game, as Utah ranks 79th in the country in opponent yards per carry at 4.4.

The Bruins are also much better in the turnover category with a turnover margin of +0.8 per game, compared to Utah at -0.2.

With losses to BYU, SDSU and Oregon State on the year already, this is a great value spot for UCLA to hand Utah its fourth loss. -- Iain MacMillan

Mississippi State (+105) Upsets Kentucky

The Wildcats have been terrific all season long, both straight-up as well as ATS, but this is a more difficult matchup than most would lead on.

Kentucky is coming off a bye after their 30-13 road loss to Georgia, while Miss. State shook the cobwebs off their blowout loss to Alabama by smashing Vanderbilt and gaining some confidence back.

It's unusual to see a Mike Leach coached team that actually plays defense, but the Bulldogs haven't allowed more than 200 yards on the ground all season, which is right near where Kentucky averages per game.

Both sides will have to earn every yard on the offensive side and with all advantages being so close, I like Mississippi State to hang on with the home crowd advantage.

For what it's worth, Kentucky -2 is my guy Peter Dewey's best college football bet of the week, but I'll have to go the other way against Public Pete this time and take the Bulldogs for the outright victory and upset. -- Ben Heisler

Iowa (+145) Upsets Wisconsin

I understand a majority of the country considers Iowa to be a fraud after last week’s lost to Purdue, but I still have faith in the Hawkeyes.

Iowa still has an elite defense and in a matchup that is sure to be a defensive battle, it will be needed. In games like this, possessions come are crucial. Iowa has the best turnover margin in the country while Wisconsin is No. 122. If the Hawkeyes can force one mistake, that will be the game. -- Donnavan Smoot

Virginia (+115) Upsets BYU

I love this spot for Virginia, who is facing a banged up and exhausted BYU team. The Cougars have injuries along the offensive line and haven't had a bye week yet! This is their ninth game in as many weeks, and will be facing a high octane Virginia offense that has scored more than 30 points in all but one game this season.

I expect a ton of points in this one, but I'm backing quarterback Brennan Armstrong to sling all over the yard in Provo on Saturday night. Not to mention, UVA's coach Bronco Mendenhall is returning to face a BYU program he used to coach in the mid-2000's. Motivation will be high, and I expect a thriller on Saturday night. I'll take the dog. -- Reed Wallach
