Colorado and Washington State will face off for the second time this season in Pac 12 play, as the Cougars are looking for revenge from their loss on Jan. 6.

The Cougars have won back-to-back games heading into Sunday’s matchup, but can they cover against a Buffaloes team that has gone just 6-12-1 ATS this season?

Here are the odds via WynnBET

Colorado vs. Washington State Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Colorado +6 (-110)
  • Washington State -6 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Colorado: +200
  • Washington State: -255

Total:

  • 132 (Over -110/Under -110)

Colorado vs. Washington State Prediction and Pick

The Buffaloes may have won the first matchup between these two teams, but the Cougars are a statistically strong defensive team.

They rank 28th in the nation in opponent effective field goal percentage, 52nd in opponent 3-point percentage and 32nd in opponent points per game.

Colorado is also solid defensively, ranking 60th in opponent effective field goal percentage and 85th in opponent points per game. Despite that, the first game between these two teams combined for 161 points.

However, both of these teams have played several of their last few games under this number, so I’m going to back a side and go with the Buffaloes.

Colorado hasn’t covered much this season, but it has hung tough lately with USC and UCLA, losing as slight underdogs. Even though they didn’t cover in those games I’m surprised that they’re six-point dogs against Washington State despite being 2.5 and 3.5 point underdogs against the two California teams.

Lean: Colorado +6 (-110)
