Commanders vs. Bears Prediction: Carson Wentz To Step Up In Week 6
The Washington Commanders and the Chicago Bears, two teams with little to no hope right now, kick off the Week 6 slate. A week after one of the ugliest games of the season, the NFL has blessed us with a contender to take over that spot.
The total in this game has been dropping, as the faith in both offenses has dwindled over the week. While we all know think we know how this game is going to go, let’s dive into the odds and see what they say.

Washington has gone from a 1-point favorite to a 1-point underdog. The total has also dropped from 39.5 to 37.5.
Commanders vs. Bears Best Bet and Prediction
Ron Rivera may think the problem with the Commanders is their quarterback, but I think he’ll be okay this week and Wentz will be able to lead the Commanders to a win.
Chicago is 27th in the league in points per game, 32nd in yards per game and 26th in touchdowns per game. All of this comes with the fact the Bears have one of the better rushing offenses in the league. Their passing game is just that inept that the entire offensive numbers come crashing down.
Washington’s problem, at least offensively, is the turnovers. The Commanders are 19th in the league in yards per game, but they are 31st in turnover margin. If they can keep the ball safe – which is a big if – they can win this game easily.
Yet even if it’s a close game, I see the Commanders coming out on top. They simply have more playmakers and a slightly more dynamic offense, so I’ll back them to win.
