Are we really doing this Cooper Rush? I guess we are. At least so far, Rush is 3-0 in his three games as the Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback. The Cowboys host the Washington Commanders who would probably take Rush in a heartbeat over the Carson Wentz experience, but Wentz’s wild style of play makes for some interesting prop bets in every game.

Best Prop Bets for Commanders vs. Cowboys

  • Carson Wentz Over 1.5 TD Passes
  • Curtis Samuel Over 10.5 Rush Yards
  • Ezekiel Elliott Under 57.5 Rush Yards

Carson Wentz OVER 1.5 TD Passes

Wentz is essentially a wild man at quarterback, he will cause problems and dig his team a hole, but he is also talented enough to dig them out of it sometimes too. Wentz has seven touchdown throws through three games and he had seven touchdown throws after two games. Last week was a disaster for him, but he will be unphased and still look to bomb the ball downfield. He also has a lot of options with Jahon Dotson, Curtis Samuel and of course, Terry McLaurin. Dallas’s defense makes a lot of big plays, sacks, turnovers, etc. but they also can be susceptible to big shots with players like Trevon Diggs who take a lot of chances.

Curtis Samuel OVER 10.5 Rush Yards

We have just seen Samuel used like Deebo Samuel this year as a runner out of the backfield and not just on jet sweeps or end-arounds. Samuel only had three carries last week and 13 yards, but that is still enough to hit the over on this total. That was his lowest production on the ground this year, so I think this is something we can count on almost every week.

Ezekiel Elliott UNDER 57.5 Rush Yards

Tony Pollard is finally starting to get more involved on the ground and while I don’t expect him to usurp Elliot, I do think he will have many more opportunities to hit the big runs while Elliot will be the short-yardage back. Last week, the Eagles only rushed for 72 yards even with a big lead. The Commanders have problems on defense, but I think they’ll be able to stop the run all year long.
