This could be rock bottom for the Washington Commanders. Even though they’re at 1-2, it looks grim after a 24-8 loss to the Eagles. The Dallas Cowboys are riding high at 2-1 with Cooper Rush in charge of the team and leading the offense. It’s a big game in division and if it goes badly, it could be one of Carson Wentz’s last.

Commanders vs. Cowboys Prediction and Pick

Cooper Rush is 3-0 as the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. He has a few pretty good wins right now too. He isn’t dynamic, but runs an effective offense and has made some solid throws when he has needed them. Rush went 21/31 for 215 and a touchdown on Monday night. The Cowboys also got the running game going with 105 on 13 carries from Tony Pollard and 73 on 15 carries and a touchdown from Ezekiel Elliot. 

Dallas looks legit and things seem to be falling to pieces in Washington. Carson Wentz was as bad as he possibly could be against the Eagles. He went 25/43 for 211 yards, but most of that came in garbage time. He was also sacked nine times and lost a fumble. With the Cowboys coming off of a five-sack performance against New York, it could get even worse this week. 

Everyone is going to be on the Cowboys after watching them win on Monday Night Football, but it’s a short week for Dallas. All of Philadelphia’s 24 points came in the second quarter and other than that, it was a defensive battle. It seemed like the game could have ended 40-0, but the Commanders found a way to move the ball later in the game. 

I do not think Carson Wentz is any good at all whatsoever. However, Demarcus Lawrence sustained an injury; The Cowboys don’t have reliable weapons on offense; Is Cooper Rush really going to go 4-0 to start his NFL career? This feels like the perfect time to fade the Cowboys no matter how gross it feels.
