I wonder how well Norfolk State slept last night in anticipation of this game. Not well I’m guessing. While seeing Coppin State pop up on the schedule is normally a negative, this Eagles team looks really good right now. They were able to upset both Howard and NC Central and covered those games by a combined 16 points. Jesse Zarzuela exploded last night against North Carolina Central with 27 points off o a 6-for-8 night from downtown. It was nice to see him bounce back after going 1-for-6 in the quarterfinal against Howard. Zarzuela also had seven assists.

This is a big difference from his average of 3.2 and could signal that he is getting hot at precisely the right time. As underdogs on the road, the Eagles are 13-5-1 ATS which is a whopping 72.2% of games.

I'm not sure that Coppin State has what it takes to upset a third conference opponent in so many days. But, I’m willing to bet they have enough left in the tank to make a game of this and cover.
