Canada and Costa Rica start the final stretch of World Cup qualification games tonight, with Canada trying to finish as strong as it started. The Canadians are destined to make the World Cup with 25 points already secured.

For Costa Rica, this is the last chance to make something happen. It would have to win out just to have a chance at being in the top 3. Can Costa Rica start the comeback?

Here are the odds for the matchup courtesy of WynnBET

Costa Rica vs. Canada Prediction and Pick

As our Iain MacMillan likes to say about his native Canada, “They are a soccer powerhouse now.”

The Canadians have won their last five matches and are atop of the CONCACAF standings for World Cup qualification. Canada is up by four points, and I think they keep its lead with a win over Costa Rica.

Costa Rica has played well as of late. It’s gone 3-1-0 in its last four matches and comes into this match trying to claw its way back up to the top. Yet, Canada is clearly the best team at this stage. The Canadians have the best goal differential in Concacaf and haven’t even lost a game yet.

It’s going to take a lot for Costa Rica to be competitive, and the Canadians have shown they don’t give anything easy to anyone.

Lean: Canada ML (+140)
