The Dallas Cowboys got edged out by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1, but quarterback Dak Prescott made a valiant effort to defeat the defending Super Bowl Champions. Prescott completed 42-of-58 passes for 403 yards and three touchdowns; a great sign that he is past his injury issues.

The Los Angeles Chargers also had a close game Week 1, but they would escape as victors in a 20 to 16 defeat of the Washington Football Team.

Justin Herbert picked up where he left off from his stellar rookie campaign, throwing for 337 passing yards against a tough Washington defense.

The Chargers defense would knock the Football Team quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, out of the game. They allowed just 261 total yards in Week 1, but should have their hands full with Prescott and the Cowboys in Week 2.

Here’s how the odds at WynnBET Sportsbook look for this Week 2 matchup:

Cowboys vs. Chargers Prediction and Pick

Justin Herbert vs. Dak Prescott should be an entertaining matchup. I believe this game is going to be a high-scoring shootout, so I will take the over 55.

The Chargers defense should be able to tamp down Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott a little better than the Cowboys defense can contain Herbert and Austin Ekeler. This really has the feeling of a “whoever scores last wins” kind of game.

I’ll take Los Angeles at -3.
