The start of the NFL preseason is finally here, as the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers kick off the Hall of Fame Game from Canton, Ohio at 8 p.m. EDT on FOX.

Both squads are looking for an improved 2021 campaign. The Cowboys lost Dak Prescott in Week 5 of the 2020 season with a broken ankle, finishing with a 6-10 overall record in a putrid NFC East that saw the Washington Football Team take home a division title at 7-9.

The Steelers got off to the best start in the league at 11-0, but proceeded to lose four of their next five games; ending up at 12-4 with a first round exit in the postseason against the division rival Browns.

With both teams featuring marquee names at multiple skill positions, ahead of the league's first standalone matchup, here's how their odds stack up for several different prop bets available at WynnBET Sportsbook.

Who will have more passing yards? Dak Prescott or Ben Roethlisberger?

Prescott is way ahead in the odds at WynnBET, coming in second behind Patrick Mahomes at +400. Roethlisberger, who led the NFL in passing yardage just two seasons ago is all the way down at +6000.

Prescott led all quarterbacks with 371.2 passing yards/game a season ago, and while Dallas's offense is predicted to remain strong, it's worth nothing that their defense gave up 180 points in the five games Prescott played in, so he had to chuck it all over the field to just catch up.

Big Ben may not be taking the downfield shots the way Prescott is, but he did throw the ball a lot last season. Only Matt Ryan and Tom Brady finished with more completions and passing attempts than Roethlisberger in 2020.

Prescott will ultimately win out over Roethlisberger, but there's sneaky value on Big Ben in perhaps his final season.

Who will have more rushing yards? Ezekiel Elliott or Najee Harris?

Elliott, once a staple among the top consensus players to lead the league in rushing falls all the way down to +1500 odds at WynnBET, tied with Saquon Barkley of the Giants for seventh-lowest odds. Harris, the first round rookie out of Alabama is all the way down at +5000.

I expect a bounce back year from Zeke, but the Cowboys showed they have a 1-B option in Tony Pollard a season ago. Pollard rushed 101 times for 435 yards, scoring four times compared to six for Elliott despite more than 143 more attempts.

Steelers lead running backs, when healthy, tend to not participate in a time share in Mike Tomlin's system. With Zeke likely on the decline, I like the value for Harris to potentially surpass Zeke with far better value.

Who will have more receiving yards? Amari Cooper or Juju Smith-Schuster?

Once again, the Cowboys lead the way as Cooper starts off at WynnBET at +2000 to lead the way in receiving yards in 2021. The veteran receiver has gone over 1,000 yards every year but 2017, and is expected to turn in another outstanding season with Prescott returning as the starter.

Cooper is currently starting the year on the PUP list, so we may see these odds move higher the more time he misses.

Smith-Schuster, despite a perceived "down year" still caught 97 passes from Roethlisberger in 2020 and opens at +6000 odds. While a few years removed from his 1,426 yard season in 2018, Smith-Schuster could see another uptick in yards with a few more big plays. After having 97-yard touchdown catches in his first two years, and a 76-yarder in 2019, Smith-Schuster's longest catch of the 2020 season was for only 31 yards.

I have Cooper winning out once again behind a better quarterback in the prime of his career, but I expect Smith-Schuster to bounce back and clear the 1,000-yard mark easily in 2021.
