The Dallas Cowboys return to action on Sunday after two straight games on Thursday in which they went 1-1. Their most recent game was a 27-17 victory over the New Orleans Saints with backup QB Taysom Hill at the helm. The Cowboys managed to intercept Hill four times in the win but still only managed to win by 10. Dak Prescott had a rather quiet day with 238 yards and a single touchdown. Tony Pollard led the backfield with 71 yards and a touchdown but the offense looked a bit stale once again.

Washington, meanwhile, won its fourth straight game with a victory over the Las Vegas Raiders 17-15. The Football Team won off a last-second field goal. QB Taylor Heinicke was surprisingly good, going 23-for-30 for 196 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.

One injury of note heading into Week 14 is Washinton’s TE Logan Thomas who let the game with what is likely a serious injury.

Cowboys vs. Washington Prediction and Pick

The Washington Football Team turned things around this season who were the second-worst team in the NFC just four weeks ago. Now, they are 6-6 and sixth in the conference. Technically they are still in the race for the division and trail the Cowboys by two games for the NFC East. It would be an epic turn of events but the Cowboys are in danger of dropping this very important division game.

The Cowboys were running away with the division at one point but have stumbled more than once in the second half of the season. They are getting healthy but I feel like I say that every week. Maybe they aren’t as good as we all thought and merely were the best team in an awful conference. I’m going to take a chance on Washington here give the Cowboys something to worry about down the home stretch.
