Coyotes vs. Ducks Prediction and Odds: Continue Fading the Winless Coyotes
By Thomas Snodgrass
The Arizona Coyotes are still looking for their first win of the season as we continue into November. The Coyotes have pulled in just one point in the Western Conference standings, coming from a 2-1 shootout loss against the Buffalo Sabres on October 16th.
The Anaheim Ducks have won two straight against the Montreal Canadiens and New Jersey Devils and have a good opportunity to make it three in a row tonight.
Ducks winger Troy Terry has been a surprising source of offense as of late, scoring five goals in the last four games and veteran center Ryan Getzlaf has appeared to turn back the clock, picking up 10 points in 11 games; Getzlaf had just 17 points in 48 games last season.

Coyotes vs. Ducks Prediction and Pick
The Coyotes are winless, so it comes as no surprise that they’re near the bottom or at the bottom in almost every statistical category.
Here’s how the Coyotes have played:
- 32nd in goals per game.
- 32nd in goals allowed per game.
- 32nd in shots per game.
- 31st in power play percentage (Ouch, sorry Vegas Golden Knights).
- Tied for last in penalty kill percentage with Winnipeg Jets
The Ducks have played solid hockey lately and should be able to take care of business at home against the Coyotes.
As long as Arizona continues to play so poorly that they beat themselves, I’ll continue fading them.
Anaheim's power play is currently fifth in the NHL, succeeding with the man advantage at 26.3 percent, and they should be able to continue that success tonight.
Pick: Ducks -1.5 (+150) Puck Line
