The No. 18 ranked Creighton Bluejays are on the hunt for a season sweep of the Butler Bulldogs on Thursday night at the Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Bluejays are coming off a 60-47 win over DePaul on Saturday, and moved to 12-5 overall and 4-2 in the Big East. Creighton is currently fifth in the conference. Ryan Hawkings leads this offense with 13.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Meanwhile, Butler got beat 69-62 by the Providence Friars over the weekend and fell to 9-10 overall and 2-6 in the Big East. It was the Bulldog’s fourth loss in a row and sixth in their last seven games. They are now under .500 and looking for a bounce-back in the Big East tonight.

Here are the odds for this Big East matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Creighton vs. Butler Prediction and Pick

Right off the bat, I have to say that this feels like another letdown spot for Butler. For starters, they are one of the worst teams in the Big East against the spread with a 6-13 overall ATS mark. On the road, the Bulldogs are 3-2 ATS and 2-9 as an underdog. Butler is just 3-7 ATS in their last 10. And, it's not hard to see why Butler isn’t covering or winning games when you look at their overall stats.

Butler is one of the worst scoring offenses in the entire nation averaging 60.4 PPG. That ranks them 341st nationally. They are also a terrible rebounding team, ranking 326th in total boards. They don’t shoot well from behind the art, two-point, or the charity stripe. I’m actually shocked they managed to win two games in the Big East at all.

On the other side of the coin, Creighton has covered three games in a row and five of their last six overall. They average 10.7 points per game more than the Bulldogs on offense and have a top 70 defense to back them up. This game feels like a gift and I am all over the Bluejays as road favorites tonight.

Pick: Creighton -3 (105)
