Now, the team plays host to the 7-9 Chicago Cubs, who are looking to see better returns from their offseason investment of Marcus Stroman, who has been rocked early in the season.
Can Stroman get on track against a team he has plenty of familiarity with in the Atlanta Braves?

Stroman has a 8.78 ERA this season, but this might be the time to buy low on him against the Braves. Coming from the Mets, the right hander has plenty of experience against Atlanta, posting a 2.12 ERA across 6 starts against the club in his career.
The Braves offense has underwhelmed in his career compared to recent seasons, checking in 17th in batting average and 16th in on-base percentage. I like Stroman to get on track on Tuesday.
On the other side, the Cubs offense is due for some regression after a hot start to the season. The team has a big league best .335 batting average on batted balls in play, 22 points ahead of the next team. Max Fried should be able to handle the lineup after a hot start to the year, posting a 3.50 ERA, but a 1.51 FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching) which means that he has been getting hurt by poor fielding.
I like both pitchers in this spot to show up and put together strong starts, I'll go with the under.
