The Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals had a game postponed on Wednesday due to rain, but they don't need to wait long to make up for it.

Cubs vs. Cardinals Game 2 Prediction and Pick
Sean Newcomb gets the start for the Cubs in the second game, but it's unclear if it's going to be a bullpen game, or if Newcomb will attempt his first full-length start of the season.
Whatever role he'll play, he'll be the one throwing the opening pitch and he'll hope to do better than he has so far this season. He enters the game with an 11.57 ERA, but to be fair, he's only pitched 9.1 innings. He should be able to improve on that mark in a hurry, if he can pitch well.
The bad news for him is he'll have to face a Cardinals offense that ranks ninth in OPS dating back to July 1. The Cubs likely won't give their pitchers much in terms of run support, considering they rank 25th in OPS during the same stretch.
Jose Quintana (3.50 ERA) gets the start for the Cardinals, and I'd much rather back St. Louis than the questionable pitching situation going on with Chicago today.
Lean: Cardinals -180
