Our Tuesday streak of dingers came to an end last night, wrapping up the month of May on a three-game homerless streak.

However, the full BetSided crew is back this Wednesday, eyeing several key matchups with great plus-value bets to leave the ballpark.

Three of the five picks tonight take place at Wrigley Field in Chicago, as the Brewers and Cubs continue their I-94 series on the North Side.

Throughout the 2022 MLB season, the BetSided team shares our best home run prop bet picks each day in our "Daily Dinger" plays.

WynnBET Sportsbook offers home run prop bet odds for multiple batters across each game, but not player batter listed in the article is available to wager on. Best Home Run Picks for Wednesday, June 1

  • Julio Rodriguez (+445) - available at WynnBET
  • Rafael Devers (+295)
  • Rowdy Tellez (+450) - available at WynnBET
  • Ian Happ (+425) - available at WynnBET

Julio Rodriguez (+445) - Seattle Mariners at Baltimore Orioles

Playing at hitter friendly Camden Yards I like the hottest rookie in baseball to continue his hot streak. He has hit four of his six homers in the last two weeks, posting a .275 batting average in the process.

He has found his footing and the wind should be blowing out of the park tonight at around six miles per hour. Let's stick with the hot hand. -- Reed Wallach

Rafael Devers (+295) - Boston Red Sox vs. Cincinnati Reds

The Red Sox' bats went silent to wrap up the month of May, but Rafael Devers is not the problem.

Boston's slugger has 10 of his 11 home runs against right-handed pitching this year with a .293 isolated power (ISO). He's mashed against everyone, if we're being honest, but especially pitchers from the right side.

Hunter Greene has had a much improved May, just like the Reds, but the young flame-thrower is still allowing an absurd 3.05 home runs per nine innings this year.

10 of Devers' home runs have come on fastballs, and he should turn a 100 mph one off Greene a long way into the stands tonight. -- Ben Heisler

Rowdy Tellez (+450) - Milwaukee Brewers at Chicago Cubs

I’m backing Brewers slugger Rowdy Tellez to go yard on Wednesday, as he’s facing one of the most home-run prone pitchers in all of baseball.

Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks has allowed 11 homers so far this season, and he ranks in the 34th percentile in barrel percentage and 15th percentile in expected ERA this season, per Baseball Savant.

Tellez already has double digit homers on the season, and has a pair of hits in six at-bats against Hendricks. I think the big lefty is a solid bet to go yard tonight. -- Peter Dewey

Tellez has hit 10 home runs on the season and broke out of his cold streak a few days ago against the Cardinals.

Hendricks has struggled keeping the ball in play over his most recent starts. He's given up seven home runs in his last five, and Tellez already has two dingers against the Cubs this season in eight games.

With Hendricks on the mound, expect that ratio to increase. -- Donnavan Smoot

Ian Happ (+425) - Chicago Cubs vs. Milwaukee Brewers

I'm mainly making this pick because the Cubs are playing against the Brewers, who will be starting Jason Alexander at pitcher. The thought of someone hitting a dinger off of George Costanza is too funny to pass up.

Obviously, this isn't the actor who played the famous Seinfeld character, but this is a guy that's making his MLB debut, and pitchers making their debut in the big leagues are always ripe for a home run or two to be hit on them. Ian Happ has an OPS of .770 this season, but has only gone yard six times in 2022.

I expect him to hit his seventh dinger of the season tonight. -- Iain MacMillan
