Over the 2022 season, the BetSided team of editors debate and share our best home run prop bet picks of the day in Major League Baseball.

WynnBET Sportsbook offers home run odds for several players in each MLB matchup, but not all players mentioned in the article are always available. Bettors can still wager on all these games as well as take advantage of several other unique prop bet opportunities.

Odds shown are consensus.

Best Home Run Picks for Saturday, April 23rd

  • Jose Abreu (+315)
  • Jorge Soler (+430)

Jose Abreu (+315) Chicago White Sox vs. Minnesota Twins

I refuse to believe that Dylan "Al" Bundy has all of a sudden turned into a Cy Young candidate. He had a 6.06 ERA last season, and gave up two home runs per nine innings. His true stat line should be much closer to that then the 0.87 ERA he has through his first two starts.

That means we're going to see some regression at some point, and I think that starts against the White Sox today.

For that reason, I'll back Jose Abreu to go yard. He hit 30 dingers last season, but has only hit one so far this year. He'll hit his second today. -- Iain MacMillan

Jorge Soler (+430) Miami Marlins vs. Atlanta Braves

The 2021 World Series MVP is back in town and is looking to show them what they are missing. Soler went 2-for-3 in the first game of this series against the Braves, and now I'm thinking a little bit bigger with a homer on Saturday night.

He will be facing starter Ian Anderson of the Braves, a predominantly fly ball pitcher that has been getting rocked early in the season. The third year pro has an ERA of 6.48 this season and has allowed a home run on 13.3% of fly balls allowed over his career.

Soler is struggling this season, batting below .200 and only has a single home run through 49 at bats, but I think he catches a deep fly on Saturday in front of his former fans. -- Reed Wallach
