Best Home Run Picks for Saturday, June 4th

  • Mike Trout (+340)
  • Austin Riley (+230)

Mike Trout, Los Angeles Angels (+340)

We hit yesterday chasing a star, and I’m going to do the same thing today. Trout hasn’t homered in a week. He’s been in a slight slump, batting under .200. Nevertheless, you can always put your faith in the best player in the game right now. Trout has hit four of his 13 homers on the road. He’ll have to get past Zack Wheeler to get the homer, but what better way to get out of a slump than to do it on one of the best pitchers in the majors?

Austin Riley (+230)

Riley has dominated lefties this season, hitting .327 and slugging .655, and now draws a matchup against Kyle Freeland of the Rockies who has an ERA north of 6 at Coors Field. The price is short, but I love the matchup for the Braves and Riley has raked against lefties.

After the Braves scored 3 runs on Friday night in extra innings, I think we see an offensive explosion on Saturday.
