It's a full 15-game slate on Friday, with 13 games going down in the evening.

It was set at 14, but the New York Mets and Colorado Rockies matchup from Coors Field this evening has already been postponed due to bad weather.

We also had another "Daily Dinger" victory on Thursday, with New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton going yard against the Baltimore Orioles in their afternoon getaway game to inch another win across the board.

Throughout the 2022 MLB season, the BetSided team serves up our best home run prop bet picks every day in our "Daily Dinger" feature.

Best Home Run Prop Bet Picks for Friday, May 20

  • Giancarlo Stanton (+260)
  • Gleyber Torres (+500)
  • Yordan Alvarez (+290)

Giancarlo Stanton (+260) - New York Yankees vs. Chicago White Sox

The Yankees return home to the hitter-friendly confines of Yankee Stadium, and get a delightful homecoming present in White Sox left-hander Dallas Keuchel.

The left-hander does not miss bats, and while he ranks in the 91st percentile in hard hit percentage this year, he's still prone to giving up the home run.

When Stanton makes contact, it's almost impossible for him not to hit it hard. He ranks in the 100th percentile in all of baseball in hard hit percentage, average and maximum exit velocity, and 98th percentile in expected slugging via MLB Statcast.

Stanton tends to go through power surges in stretches, and after coming through with a dinger for me on Thursday afternoon in Baltimore, I'm going back to the well again on Friday. -- Ben Heisler

Gleyber Torres (+500) - New York Yankees vs. Chicago White Sox

The Yankees face a lefty in Dallas Keuchel at Yankee Stadium, meaning one thing: home runs. However, I'm going to bank on some select pitching from Keuchel and the White Sox against the likes of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, putting Torres in favorable spots all game.

Torres hits lefties, well 10 points higher against lefties than righties, so I'll take the long odds on him. -- Reed Wallach

Yordan Alvarez (+290) - Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers

Alvarez is second in baseball in home runs, sandwiched between Yankees Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. He’ll have a tough matchup today against Martin Perez, who still hasn’t allowed a home run this season. Yet, Alvarez has four homers this season in Minute Maid Park.

He normally doesn’t go an entire series without hitting one out of the park, so I’ll back him to do so in the middle of this Rangers series. -- Donnavan Smoot
