We're back to a full slate of games this Tuesday, and two more dingers came through for the team on Monday!

BetSided's Peter Dewey saw Jose Altuve leave the yard in Houston against the Mariners, while Iain MacMillan cashed with Eduardo Escobar of the Mets in San Diego.

That's how three straight days of hitting "Daily Dinger" picks, including four home runs from our last eight selections!

Let's stay hot in the month of June with today's picks.

Best Home Run Picks Today

  • Corey Seager (+390)
  • Kyle Tucker (+425) - available at WynnBET
  • Christian Yelich (+750)
  • Pete Alonso (+315) - available at WynnBET
  • Joc Pederson (+440) - available at WynnBET

Corey Seager (+390) - Texas Rangers at Cleveland Guardians

I was leaning towards Seager on Monday before deciding on the red-hot George Springer (2 for 4 but no home runs in Toronto's 8-0 win in KC). Fortunately, the game was washed out, so now Seager is back in play when he faces the Guardians and starter Cal Quantrill.

Quantrill has put up solid numbers, but his expected ERA is nearly a full run higher than his actual ERA this season, and his SIERA (skill-interactive Earned Run Average) of 5.01 indicates he could struggle sooner rather than later.

As for Seager, FantasyLabs points out that despite his 11 home runs this year, his batting average of balls in play, or BABIP is .232, and he's never been below .300 in his career. At some point, the numbers have to turn around for him, and a hot humid day in Cleveland vs. a starter looking at regression square in the face should do just the trick. -- Ben Heisler

Kyle Tucker (+425) - Houston Astros vs. Seattle Mariners

Tucker is starting to round into form, hitting .357 over the last 2 weeks, and now gets a fly ball prone pitcher in Chris Flexen on Tuesday night.

Flexen is allowing fly ball contact on nearly 65% of balls put into play and home runs on greater than 11% of those fly balls.

Tucker does most of his damage against right handed pitching, hitting .269 with eight of 10 homers against those types of pitchers, I'll bank on him to catch one here. -- Reed Wallach

Christian Yelich (+750) - Milwaukee Brewers vs. Philadelphia Phillies

It's about time that Christian Yelich turns his season around. He's batting only .218 this season, and has only racked up five home runs. With that being said, I think he's going to turn this around sooner rather than sooner.

Tonight, he and the Brewers will face the Phillies. Ranger Suarez gets the start for Philadelphia, and he has a 4.69 ERA, but most importantly, he's a lefty. Yelich has a .254 batting average against left-handed pitchers this season, compared to only .202 against right-handed pitchers.

If he's going to get hot, it might just start when he faces a lefty with a sub-par ERA. Tonight's game fits the bill. -- Iain MacMillan

Pete Alonso (+315) - New York Mets at San Diego Padres

Alonso is one of the three players in second on the home runs leaderboard. The only player who has more than him is Aaron Judge.

He was able to knock in three homers against the Dodgers and is now in a series against the team that allows over one homer per game at home.

Alonso didn’t hit any in his first game against the Padres, but now has a groove in that ballpark. It’s a race to catch Judge and Alonso is certainly making up ground as fast as possible. -- Donnavan Smoot

Joc Pederson (+440) - San Francisco Giants vs. Colorado Rockies

I’ve still got a bit of a way to go to catch Ben Heisler in Daily Dinger, but Jose Altuve came through for us on Monday night.

The strategy yesterday was to fade a pitcher (Robbie Ray) who has given up a ton of homers (14) so far this season. So, we’re going back to the well on Tuesday to fade German Marquez (11 homers allowed) against the San Francisco Giants.

I’ll take Joc Pederson to go yard in a game that sets up perfect for the long ball. The forecast for this game has the wind blowing out to dead center at a whopping 17 miles per hour, which should give a few fly balls some extra juice.

Pederson has just four hits against Marquez in 25 career at-bats, but he has homered off of him twice. With Joc on fire at the dish this season (13 homers in 44 games), he’s my pick to go deep tonight. -- Peter Dewey
