The matchup is the chef’s kiss of “Daily Dinger” opportunities. Hoskins owns a massive .296 isolated power, or ISO against left-handers (league average is .140), while Minor allows an absurd 2.61 HR/9.
Over Minor’s last four starts, he’s allowed six home runs. He’s also been brutal vs. right-handers all season with a .306 batting average against and a Fielding Independent Pitching, or FIP of just under 8!
Sure, it’s short odds for a player to hit a dinger, but in Hoskins’ case, the matchup begs for the ball to be destroyed off his bat.

Ryan Mountcastle (+430) – Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays
The Baltimore Orioles and Ryan Mountcastle will get another matchup with Yusei Kikuchi and the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday, and I think this is a great spot to back an Oriole to hit a homer.
I’m personally siding with Mountcastle, who took Kikuchi yard back on Aug. 8, and finished that game with two hits.
Kikuchi is easily the most fadeable pitcher on the Jays, giving up 18 home runs in 19 starts, and he’s allowed five homers in just two outings against the Orioles this season. I’ll back Mountcastle to stay hot against a pitcher he clearly sees the ball well against. – Peter Dewey

Adley Rutschman (+560) - Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays
As a Blue Jays fan myself, I can’t help but fade Yusei Kikuchi whenever he takes the mound. I didn’t like the signing in the offseason, and I like it even less now. He’s holding the entire team back, but at least I can make some money on my team’s misfortune.
He gets the start for the Blue Jays today when they take on the Orioles, and few pitchers in the Majors give up as many home runs as he does, averaging 2.1 per nine innings pitched.
Today, I’ll back their young catcher, Adley Rutschman, to go deep.He only has six on the year, so we’re getting fairly long odds on him, but he has shown he has the power to build on that number. I’ll take a shot on him today at +475. - Iain MacMillan

Francisco Lindor (+500) - New York Mets vs. Atlanta Braves
The hottest player on the scorching Mets is in a good spot come Monday night. While Spencer Strider made some headlines last week against New York citing that the team had some lucky hits, I don't see any doubt in this matchup. Atlanta plays in one of the most hitter friendly parks and Lindor has been swinging a sweet bat of late. He is hitting .363 with four long balls since the All-Star Break.
I'm fading Strider again as I see a bit of a down turn for the rookie to finish the year and I think the Mets shortstop is being undervalued at this number given his recent production. – Reed Wallach
