Dak Prescott is back.

The Cowboys quarterback, who suffered a season ending ankle injury in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season, is back in action and reportedly feels great. He told ESPN’s Sage Steele that he feels like he could play a full game right now, if he needed to.

WynnBET has recently released odds to win NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2021, and Dak Prescott is the odds-on favorite at +175 (bet $100 to win $175). He’s also listed at +1500 to be named the league’s MVP.

Giants running back Saquon Barkley, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey are next on the Comeback Player of the Year odds list at +600.

People forget Prescott was on pace to smash the NFL record for most passing yards in a season last year before his injury. Admittedly, it was still early in the season, but Prescott was averaging 371.2 yards per game. If he kept up that pace, he would have thrown for 5,939 yards, which would have surpassed the current record of 5,477 yards set by Peyton Manning in 2013.

Jerry Jones is certainly hoping for a big bounce back season for Prescott. The Cowboys signed Prescott to a record-breaking four-year, $160 million contract this offseason, which includes a $66 million signing bonus.

WynnBET has the Cowboys projected win total for the 2021 NFL season set at 9.5 with the UNDER slightly favored at -116. The odds for the OVER 9.5 wins is set at -105. Basically the odds indicate the Cowboys have a 50-50 shot of winning 10 games.

Dallas will quickly find out how it measures up with the best teams in the league. It faces the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1. The Cowboys are currently set as 6.5-point underdogs.
