Davante Adams is wildly considered to be one of the best, if not the single best, wide receiver in the NFL. In fact, he was voted the No. 1 WR in the league by NFL coaches, players, executives, and scouts.

Despite the love he’s getting from his fellow athletes and executives around the NFL, Adams is listed fourth on the odds list at WynnBET to lead the league in receiving yards in 2021. WynnBET currently has his odds listed at +1200, but Deandre Hopkins (+750), Stefon Diggs (+800) and Calvin Ridley (+1000) are all listed with shorter odds.

A big reason for the lack of respect on the odds board has to be credited to the uncertainty at quarterback. Aaron Rodgers poor relationship with Green Bay Packers management has been the story of the offseason, and with training camps just a couple weeks away, we still don’t know whether or not he’s going to return to Green Bay.

Not having the NFL MVP throwing him the ball will certainly have an effect on Adam’s stat line, especially when you consider that the other option is an unproven Jordan Love who has yet to take a snap in a regular season NFL game.

Even with Rodgers back in Green Bay, it’s interesting to note that Adams has never led the league in receiving yards. He did lead the NFL in yards per game last season with 98.1, but he missed two games due to injury which left him in behind Diggs, Travis Kelce, Hopkins and Justin Jefferson on the leaderboard for total receiving yards.

If you think Rodgers will return to the Packers and Adams will be able to stay healthy for the entire season, something he hasn’t done since 2016, you won’t find better bet to lead the NFL in receiving yards than the Green Bay receiver at +1200.
