Delaware vs. Villanova Prediction and Pick

This game is lining up for a Wildcats blowout in my eyes, and there are a few reasons why. First off, this Villanova team has a plethora of tournament experience, and it is playing some of its best basketball of the season entering the tourney.

The Wildcats have also been dominant as a No. 1 or No. 2 seed in the first round recently. Villanova won by 26 as a No. 1 seed in 2018, 20 as a No. 1 seed in 2017, 30 as a No. 2 seed in 2016, 41 as a No. 1 seed in 2015 and 20 as a No. 2 seed in 2014.

Simply put, Jay Wright’s team is going to let up against inferior competition.

The Wildcats are much stronger on the defensive end, and they are one of the best foul shooting teams in the country. This is a no-brainer for me.

Lean: Villanova -15 (-110)
