Derrick Henry Reportedly Could Miss Rest of Season, Crushes Titans Super Bowl Hopes
By Peter Dewey
The Tennessee Titans reportedly could be without Derrick Henry for the remainder of the 2021 season due to a foot injury he suffered in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Henry, who carried the ball 28 times for 68 on Sunday, had gotten all the way up to +2000 odds at WynnBET to win the league's MVP award.
Losing Henry would be a massive blow to Tennessee's Super Bowl hopes, even though it is in control of the AFC South.
The Titans were up to +1800 on WynnBET to win the Super Bowl, but they will certainly take a hit in those odds if Henry's season is done.
The 6-2 Titans will likely turn to Jeremy McNichols and Dontrell Hilliard in the backfield, but it would surprising if they didn't make a free agent additon as well.
On the season, Henry has rushed for a league-best 937 yards and 10 touchdowns in eight games.
