Devils vs Blackhawks Prediction and Odds (Take Devils to Continue Chicago's Home Struggles)
By Joe Summers
The Devils have been on fire offensively, scoring 25 goals over their last five games after welcoming Jesper Bratt back to the lineup. They'll try to win their second straight when they take on the struggling Blackhawks tonight at 8:30 PM EST.
Chicago has lost three in a row and will start backup goalie Kevin Lankinen tonight. Can they right the ship or will New Jersey continue its torrid pace?

Devils vs Blackhawks Prediction and Pick
I'll be honest, I'm surprised the Devils are underdogs here. They've won three of their last five and now take on a Blackhawks team that has lost seven in a row at home. All but one of those losses came by multiple goals.
Chicago has the third-worst offense in the NHL in goals per game and tonight's goalie, Kevin Lankinen, is just 2-5-4 this season and allows 3.41 goals per game in his starts. The Blackhawks have scored more than 3 goals just four times in their last 16 games and this sets up as a brutal spot against a streaking New Jersey squad.
Meanwhile, the Devils have scored at least four goals in four of their last eight and I love getting them at plus money tonight. They're not an amazing group by any stretch of the imagination, but they should be able to ride their momentum to handle a terrible Chicago team missing their only bright spot in Marc-Andre Fleury.
Give me New Jersey in one of my favorite bets of the day but don't wait to get your wager in - I wouldn't be surprised if the Devils wind up closing as favorites.
Pick: New Jersey +100
