The Maple Leafs are still trying to find their footing down the stretch of the NHL season, having gone 5-4-1 over their last 10 games. They're now in danger of losing the third spot in the Atlantic Division to the Bruins, but are in a good spot to get back on track tonight when they face the New Jersey Devils.

The Devils, who enter the game with a 23-35-5 record on the year, are already looking ahead to next season. Toronto has beat them by a combined score of 13-5 in their two previous meetings, and I'd expect a similar result tonight.

Here are the odds via WynnBET for tonight's Eastern Conference matchup.

Devils vs. Maple Leafs Prediction and Pick

This is a bad matchup for the Devils, and I expect this game to end in the same fashion that the previous two meetings between these teams did.

The Maple Leafs have one of the most potent offenses in the NHL, ranking second in goals for per 60 minutes over their last 25 games, averaging an eye-popping number of 4.05. They're also fourth in the NHL in shooting percentage over that span, finding the back of the net on 11.63 percent of shots.

Now they face a Devils team that's 30th in the NHL in both team save percentage and goals against per 60 minutes, allowing 3.86 per game.

The jury is still out on whether or not Erik Kallgren is the answer for the Leafs at goaltending, which is why the total is so high in this game, but I'll back the Leafs to look like their dominate selves.

Lean: Maple Leafs -1.5 (-135)
