The Los Angeles Rams were handed one of the most shocking losses of the season, blowing a 17-3 halftime lead to NFC West rivals San Francisco 49ers. It was the first time Sean McVay lost a game in which he led at halftime.

The Rams were able to clinch the NFC West with the Arizona Cardinals losing to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 18, but what should we make of this disheartening loss to a playoff contender.

Matthew Stafford mentioned that it was hard to hear the play calls and get the offense settled despite being at home in SoFi Stadium as the stadium was taken over by 49ers fans in a must-win situation.

Since moving to Los Angeles, spanning two stadiums, the Rams are 21-26-3 ATS at home. In playoff games, Matthew Stafford is 1-2 ATS and is yet to win a game outright in his time with the Detroit Lions.

With another nearby rival in the Cardinals traveling to face the Rams on Monday night in the wild card round, one has to question just how legitimate the Rams' home field advantage is. Arizona won at SoFi Stadium earlier this season, handling the Rams 37-20.

The Rams enter as 4-point favorites at WynnBET Sportsbook with a total of 50 points. It will be interesting to see the turnout for this matchup after Stafford noted the issues with the stadium atmosphere last week.
