Dodgers vs. Braves Prediction
The Dodgers are going to send out Max Scherzer to keep their season alive on full rest. Rest is key for Scherzer, who admitted he was exhausted and his arm "felt dead" after Game 2 against the Braves.
Scherzer has been active this postseason, Game 6 will mark his fifth appearance already, and he wasn't able to get out of the fifth inning in Game 2. The Dodgers' hope that with full rest Scherzer can give a strong outing, but this is a Braves lineup that has found timely hitting all postseason all over the lineup.
In the NLCS, all eyes have turned to Eddie Rosario. Acquired at the trade deadline, Rosario has added even more talent at the top of the Braves lineup. He is hitting .571 in the Championship Series with six runs batted in.
I still think this is the Braves' series to lose and the value is on them to do it here against a fatigued Dodgers roster that is starting to show signs of ware and tear after a World Series run last season.
I'll take Atlanta at long odds to punch their ticket on at Truist Parks.
