Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks Prediction and Odds for Sunday, May 29 (Get the Brooms Out)
By Joe Summers
The 32-14 Los Angeles Dodgers hope to put the finishing touches on a four-game sweep as they take on the 23-25 Arizona Diamondbacks today at 4:10 p.m. EST.
We've got a strong pitching matchup as Tyler Anderson opposes Zach Davies. Anderson has a perfect 5-0 record and 3.83 ERA coming into today's contest and threw eight shutout innings against Washington in his last outing.
Davies' recent starts haven't gone quite as well. He got hammered for eight hits and four runs in just 3.2 innings against the Royals in his last appearance and gave up five runs to these Dodgers in his start before that.
Can Davies steady the ship and salvage a win in this series or will Anderson's record stay perfect?

Dodgers vs Diamondbacks Prediction and Pick
The Dodgers have won 12 of their last 14 and are poised to keep their hot streak going today. Tyler Anderson ranks in the 93rd percentile in hard hit percentage and average exit velocity as he's putting together a fantastic season. He had one disaster start against the Phillies, but if you remove that outing then he has a 2.18 ERA.
Anderson threw seven strong innings against Arizona two weeks ago, allowing just two runs, and has only issued one walk in all of May. Los Angeles has won four of his last five starts and have given him tremendous run support.
That run support should continue against Zach Davies, who is starting to fall apart after a strong start to the campaign. He has an 8.10 ERA in his last three starts, including a loss to the Dodgers in which he gave up five runs. Davies does a nice job limiting hard contact but is in just the 27th percentile in expected batting average. He's in for a long day against a Los Angeles lineup that easily leads the league in OPS against right-handed pitchers.
Arizona has been great on the run line as an underdog all year, but with such a pitching mismatch I'll back the Dodgers to complete the sweep in resounding fashion.
Pick: Dodgers -1.5 (-135)
