Dodgers vs. Giants Prediction: Two Best Teams in Baseball Meet in NLDS
The Los Angeles Dodgers, who held the second best record in baseball, narrowly escaped a scare in the wild card game against the St. Louis Cardinals, needing a walk-off home run by Chris Taylor in the bottom of the ninth inning to advance to the NLDS.
Now we will get to see what we assumed was destined all season; a playoff series between NL West rivals. The San Francisco Giants held on to the NL West lead for the majority of the season, before finally clinching the division crown with their 162nd game of the season. The NLDS will now feature a matchup between the two best teams in baseball, with the winner earning a berth in the NLCS.
Game 1 is set to begin at 9:37 pm et on Friday.

Dodgers vs. Giants Prediction and Pick
The Giants won the NL West and hold a 10-9 record against the Dodgers this season, but yet they’re still set at +115 underdogs. I’m obligated to take them at that price, especially with them playing Game 1 at home.
Logan Webb will get the stat for the Giants. He’ll enter the game with an 11-3 record and a 3.03 ERA on the season. In three starts against the Dodgers this season, he’s only allowed seven hits and four earned runs in a combined 16 innings.
Meanwhile, Walker Buehler gets the start for the Dodgers, and he was lit up by the Giants in his last start against them. He gave up seven hits and six earned run in only three innings. San Francisco knows how to get to the Dodgers ace.
Give me the Giants as an underdog at +115.
