Dodgers vs. Padres Prediction and Odds for Saturday, Sept. 10 (Bet Total)
By Reed Wallach
The Padres are trying to make a statement heading into the postseason, and the team made a great first impression in the series opener against the Dodgers.
San Diego walked off MLB's best team Los Angeles on Friday night as they jockey for position in the National League Wild Card and try to prove to the Dodgers that they are capable of contending. Can the team keep it rolling on Saturday with Blake Snell toeing the slab against Julio Urías?
What can we expect after that thriller? Let's check out the odds from FanDuel Sportsbook:

Dodgers vs. Padres Prediction and Pick
I'm looking at the under in this one. Blake Snell hasn't been great in San Diego, but is trending in the right direction. After a 5.22 ERA in the first half, Snell has been pitching to a 2.20 since the All-Star break. The lefty has showcased much better control and should be able to keep the runs to a minimum despite the Dodgers loaded lineup.
Meanwhile, Julio Urías is starting to build a Cy Young ballot campaign with a MLB best 2.29 ERA and he should be in line for a strong start against the Padres, who are built around their ability to draw walks. The Padres have a top five walk rate in baseball this season, but Urías does a great job of limiting base on balls, posting a strikeout-to-walk ratio north of four.
I'll look to the under in this battle of the top teams in the National League.
