The Los Angeles Dodgers and Minnesota Twins will wrap up a quick, two-game series on Wednesday afternoon. The Dodgers won the first game 7-2, and are looking to win their third game of the season before returning to LA for their home opener against the Reds.

Meanwhile, the Twins will try to return to .500 before they head to Boston to take on the Red Sox.

Clayton Kershaw will get his first start of the season for the Dodgers, and Minnesota to put out new acquisition, Chris Paddack, for his Twins debut.

Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for this afternoon's matchup.

Dodgers vs. Twins Odds, Run Line and Total

Run line:

  • Dodgers -1.5 (+105)
  • Twins +1.5 (-125)

Moneyline:

  • Dodgers -168
  • Twins +153

Total:

  • 9 (Over +100/Under -120)

Dodgers vs. Twins Prediction and Pick

It's going to be interesting to see what we get from Clayton Keyshaw this season. His production took a significant dip last season, posting his worst ERA since his rookie season at 3.55. I don't feel comfortable laying the juice on the Dodgers with Kershaw's potential career regression, but I also don't want to bet against their bats against a shaky Chris Paddack.

For that reason, I'm going to back the over nine at +100.

The Dodgers bats came to life in yesterday's game against the Twins, putting up a total of seven runs. I expect their offense to carry that momentum in today. Let's not overthink this one. Bet on runs being scored, sit back, and have some fun.

Lean: Over 9 (+100)
