The Week 14 edition of Sunday Night Football will feature an anticipated matchup between the No. 5 and No. 6 overall picks of the 2020 NFL Draft, Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert.

The Dolphins are set as 3.5-point favorites, but what about player props? Should we be betting on the third year quarterbacks to have a big day? Are there any other players we should target?

Those are the questions I'm here to answer.

Let's take a look at the best player prop bets for Sunday Night Football between the Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Chargers

  • Justin Herbert UNDER 293.5 passing yards
  • Tua Tagovailoa longest pass OVER 39.5 yards
  • Raheem Mostert OVER 46.5 rushing yards

Justin Herbert UNDER 293.5 passing yards

Justin Herbert is averaging 278.3 passing yards per game this season, but for some reason, his set total for tonight is 15 yards higher then that at 293.5.

If this game was early in this season, I'd probably back the OVER considering how bad the Dolphins secondary has been playing. That's not the case anymore. Over each team's last three games, the Dolphins are allowing the second fewest yards per pass attempt, giving up only 5.1 yards per snap.

I'll fade Herbert on Sunday Night Football.

Tua Tagovailoa longest pass OVER 39.5 yards

It likely comes as no surprise to anyone who has watched the Dolphins this season, but Miami leads the NFL in yards per completion at 12.4. Not only do Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill give Tua Tagovailoa two deep threats, but they're susceptible to racking up plenty of yards per carry.

With the Chargers banged up on defense, notably likely missing star safety Derwin James, Tagovailoa is going to have a few big completions in this game. Hopefully, one of them will be over 39.5 yards.

Raheem Mostert OVER 46.5 rushing yards

Fading the Chargers run defense is one of the most obvious bets to make every single week. They're dead last in the NFL in opponent yards per carry, allowing 5.4 yards per rush.

The only question is which running back you should play between Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. It's tough to tell who will get the majority of the work, but it's worth noting that he played 61% of offensive snaps in their game last week against the 49ers.

I'll back Mostert to have a big game tonight.
