Dolphins vs. Jets Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for NFL Week 11

The Miami Dolphins have looked like a much-improved team over the last couple of weeks with back-to-back wins over the Ravens and Texans.

The New York Jets fell back into bad habits last week and got blown out by the Buffalo Bulls 45-17. New York’s defense was practically non-existent and Mike White looked very much like a Jets QB for the first time. A game against the Dolphins might be just what New York needs to bounce back.

The Miami Dolphins are coming off a huge win over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night but are still a pretty bad team. They got a boost from injured QB Tua Tagovailoa who was out with a finger injury but came in after Jacoby Brissett went down with a knee injury. Tua threw for 158 yards and rushed for a touchdown in relief of Brissett.

This game is between two bad teams heading in different directions the last few weeks and it will be interesting to see if those trends continue in Week 11.

Dolphins vs. Jets Prediction and Pick

As it turns out, neither Mike White nor Zach Wilson are the “quarterback of the future” that the Jets were hoping they were going to be. Last week at this time, many were praising the Jets and their backup QB Mike White after a 400+ yard game against the Bengals. Well, White finally looked like a Jet last week and threw four interceptions before getting yanked in the fourth quarter in favor of Joe Flacco. At least White will always have Cincinnati.

The Dolphins have their fair share of problems to be sure. But, they have looked much better recently and actually feel like a team to keep an eye on down the stretch. After losing seven straight games, the Dolphins came out and won their second game in five days against a very good Ravens team.

In a perfect world for the Jets, Wilson would be healthy and ready to go this weekend after White’s epic meltdown. And while that might happen, I don’t think Wilson is much better than White. So what does it really matter?

They might be better off starting Flacco, to be honest. All that is to say that no matter who starts for the Jets this weekend, I have no faith in them to keep this division game close against a Dolphins’ team playing good football right now.

Pick: Miami Dolphins -2.5 (-110)
