Dolphins vs. Jets Updated Odds and Prediction: What Bettors Need to Know
By Matt De Saro
Remember when Mike White was the next savior for the New York Jets after a 400+ yard game? Well, one week and two drives later and that dream became an all-too-familiar nightmare for the Jets. It's time for a wake-up call for this team.
The Jets opened as 2.5 point home underdogs this week against the Miami Dolphins but that line has moved in the Dolphins' favor by a half-point. This happened after news broke that Joe Flacco would be starting this weekend. I have to be honest, up until last weekend I had forgotten that Flacco was still signed to an NFL team. It’s sad but Flacco probably gives them the best chance to win. Though, the odds shift would disagree with me.
Here are the updated odds for this Week 11 AFC East rivalry, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Dolphins vs. Jets Prediction and Pick
Not only has the spread moved in favor of the Dolphins after Flacco was announced as the starter. But, the total also dropped one full point from 45.5 to 44.5. The last time these two teams met the Dolphins were 7.5 point favorites.
This movement, and the Flacco start, don’t change my opinion of this game much at all. The fact is that even with a little less value, the Dolphins are the play here. The Jets have been atrocious no matter who is under center. Not only are they not winning but they are also struggling to cover games. The only two games they have managed to cover all season were their two unlikely ins over the Bengals and Titans. I don’t care what aging arm the Jets bring in to QB, be it Brett Favre or Vinny Testaverde, they are not a team worth betting on right now.
Pick: Miami Dolphins -3.0
