The Miami Dolphins continued their red-hot run to the playoffs with their seventh straight win in Week 16. Now, they are set to face off against a Tennessee Titans team that hasn't found a way to replace the production lost when Derrick Henry got hurt.

While the Dolphins are fighting to hang onto the seventh spot in the AFC, the Titans are still No. 2 in the standings. This is despite the Titans losing three of their last four games. It just goes to show how good this team was doing before Henry’s injury.

They are now 10-5 and still somehow lead the AFC South. But, with the surging Colts nipping at their heels, the pressure is on for the Titans to get back on track.

Since the odds broke on Sunday, there have been no significant changes over the week.  The Titans went from 3-point favorites to 3.5 and the total dipping from 41 to 39.5. Here are the updated odds for this AFC battle, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Dolphins vs. Titans Prediction and Pick

If this game had happened at the halfway point in the season, I can’t imagine that the spread would have been in single digits. The Dolphins were 1-7 after Week 8 while the Titans were 6-2 and led the AFC South. Now, after 16 weeks, I'm questioning whether or not the right team is favored.

One of the big reasons for the Dolphins' incredibly impressive resurgence has been quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. He is still having issues turning the ball over, with five interceptions in his last seven games, but is doing enough good to offset those mistakes.

The defense has also picked up the pace over the last seven weeks and rank in the top-10 in scoring with 21 points per game surrendered. Their offense is still outside of the top-20, but those are season-long stats.

The Dolphins have shown a lot more recently and are averaging 23.7 points per game in their last three contests. On the flip side, while the Titans' season-long average of 23.8 points per game is better than the Dolphins, Tennessee’s average over the last three games is just 17.7.

This is a tough game because despite having an edge in the talent department, the Titans are not playing good football right now. Getting A.J. Brown back helped last week against the 49ers but I don’t know if he can find such success two weeks in a row.

With Jaylen Waddle breaking rookie records out of the backfield and DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki pitching in in the air, I think Miami has enough firepower to break down the Titans' defense. And, with a top-10 defense, Miami can keep the Titans struggling offense down and win this game outright.

Pick: Miami Dolphins +145 to win
