The Las Vegas Raiders and the Los Angeles Rams kick off Week 14 action from SoFi Stadium.

Las Vegas, despite having drama every week, is starting to win games and is the overwhelming favorite against the Rams this week. Los Angeles went out and signed Baker Mayfield from waivers, making this the third team in two years for Mayfield.

The Rams are just 3-9 ATS this year. Will a new quarterback be the key to them finding a little bit of light at the end of this season?

The Raiders started as 5.5-point favorites and are now 6-point favorites. The total has also gone from 43 to 44.5.

Raiders vs. Rams Prediction and Best Bet

The Rams have seen enough of Bryce Perkins and John Wolford, so they brought in Baker Mayfield to quarterback the team. While Mayfield may be an upgrade over those two players, it still might not keep the Rams close. Mayfield is 1-5 as a starter this season with six touchdowns and seven turnovers.

Las Vegas has started to turn its season around, winning its last three games. The Raiders are starting to win the one score games they were losing earlier in the year, which is just what they need.

However, because of the Raiders’ propensity to be in one score games, I can’t trust them to win by a touchdown. I have to go to the total for this one. The Rams have scored 17 or less points in four of their last six games – all which have been losses. If the Raiders defense can tee off against either backup quarterbacks or Baker Mayfield, they can keep the Rams’ offense at bay and win this game.
