Eagles Odds to Go Undefeated Remain Tantalizingly Long

The Eagles are 8-0, the lone undefeated team remaining in the NFL, and have a bit of a cakewalk the rest of the season with only five games against teams with winning records.

If you're looking for a long shot bet on them, +1100 odds to go 17-0 is likely your only remaining shot. Philly now has the second-lowest odds to win the Super Bowl (+500), are -390 to win the NFC East, and its win total OVER/UNDER sits at 14.5 with the OVER a even-money (+100) underdog to the UNDER (-120).

The last set of odds indicates bookmakers believe the Eagles will not only go undefeated, but they believe the Eagles will lose at least three games down the stretch. That's certainly possible, but it's not as if the Eagles face a murders row of opponents.

The Eagles next three opponents (Commanders, Colts, Packers) have a combined record of 10-16-1. After that they face a gritty 5-3 Titans squad in Philly and then the 6-3 Giants and 3-6 Bears. These are all winnable games, but I could see Philly losing at least one of the division games and perhaps another upset.

If they do get through that section of the season, their toughest remaining task will be beating the Cowboys in Dallas. The Cowboys defense is Top 5 in the NFL in most key statistical categories and their offense has regained their mojo since Dak Prescott returned from injury. The Eagles beat the Prescott-less Cowboys in Week 6, but beating a division rival twice in the NFC East is never an easy task.

After that, the Eagles face the Saints and Giants. I wouldn't expect a slip up if they make it that far.

It's a long shot bet for sure, but anything with +1100 odds is. And hey, it's the best odds you'll get on any Eagles future bet at this point of the season, so it's worth considering if you think Philly is a team of destiny.
