Eagles Odds to Win NFC East Are Way Too High Following James Bradberry

The Philadelphia Eagles have to be feeling on top of the world after making another big signing this offseason.

The Eagles landed former Giants cornerback James Bradberry on a 1-year/$10 million dollar deal. Bradberry’s signing adds to the Eagles’ busy offseason. Philly traded for Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown, drafted Georgia Bulldogs Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean and now got another cornerback to go opposite of Darius Slay.

With all the moves the Eagles have made, their odds to win the always-open NFC East are entirely too high right now. WynnBET has their odds to win the division at +220. The Dallas Cowboys are the outright favorite at -110.

Those odds are absolutely ridiculous. The Eagles just got the best wide receiver they’ve had in over a decade (apologies to Alshon Jeffrey) and now have three difference makers on defense. Brown will be across from Devonta Smith, who are complimenting the league’s best rushing offense. Philadelphia has the ability to be explosive through the air and on the ground.

Defensively, Davis and Dean will help strengthen the front seven, which was the strength of the Eagles when they won the Super Bowl.

The Cowboys haven’t shown the ability to be a dominant football team in over five seasons and now the Eagles, who were very much in the division title hunt towards the end of the season, are retooled.

No NFC East team has won back-to-back titles since the Eagles from 2001-04. This division is always up for grabs and can be won by anyone. Even if you think the Cowboys are the play to make, there is no way they should be -110.

The Eagles number will likely drop a little more as training camp rolls around, so jump on this number as long as the Eagles are being undervalued.
