Eagles vs. Commanders Best Prop Bets for NFL Week 3 (Carson Wentz Revenge Interceptions Loading)
By Josh Yourish
Could this be a trap game for the Eagles down in DC? The Birds are flying high right now, but the Commanders could bring them right back down to earth at Fedex Field.
Maybe you’re scared off of betting a side in what could be a trap game for Philly, or you just want some more action on this NFC East matchup. Either way, here are a few of my best prop bets on Sunday.
Best Prop Bets for Eagles vs. Commanders
- Carson Wentz over 238.5 Passing Yards
- Devonta Smith over 44.5 Receiving Yards
- Philadelphia Defense Anytime Touchdown
Carson Wentz OVER 238.5 Passing Yards
This is Wentz’s first opportunity to play his former team the Philadelphia Eagles and if we know anything about Carson Wentz, it is that he will always try to do too much. If there is an opportunity to take a chance and throw downfield Wentz is going to take it. I don’t think he will play well and I’m certain he will throw at least two awful interceptions. However, he’ll keep throwing and he’ll clear this total for sure.
Devonta Smith OVER 44.5 Receiving Yards
In Week 1, Smith didn’t get a touch and obviously went well under this total. But last Monday, Smith made seven catches for 80 yards and was the No. 2 option in this passing offense like we expected coming into the year. Jalen Hurts is going to make sure he throws the ball Smith’s way because this Washington defense is struggling and AJ Brown and Devonta Smith will both be open all day.
Philadelphia Defense Anytime Touchdown
Remember when I said Carson Wentz was going to try to do too much. He's going to have some awful interceptions and remind Eagles fans why their team moved on from him. Having this bet will feel so good everytime Wentz starts scrambling around and pointing downfield because you just know he’s going to screw something up.
