Eagles vs. Giants Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for NFL Week 12
By Matt De Saro
Two NFC East rivals New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles face off this week at the Meadowlands.
The Eagles come off a decisive win over the Saints last week 40-29 as a three-point home favorite. Philly relied heavily on their rushing game and was rewarded with 242 yards on the ground and three touchdowns. The Eagles are now 2.5 games back from the Dallas Cowboys for the top spot in the NFC East. This is a game the Eagles need to win if they have any hope of catching Dallas who has the tiebreaker over Philly.
The Giants suffered yet another embarrassing loss this weekend after getting beat down by the Buccaneers 30-10. Unlike the Eagles, the Giants had no luck on the ground and managed just 66 yards. The Giants remain the worst team in the division and are in a bad spot heading into Week 13.

Eagles vs. Giants Prediction and Pick
Unlike the Giants, the Eagles are actually playing pretty well right now. They have played well in four straight weeks despite losing one of those games 27-24 to the Broncos, and have a fair bit of momentum heading to New Jersey this weekend. The Eagles are also still in the NFC playoff race and would love to hit the bye with a winning record.
Meanwhile, things are going from bad to worse in New York. The offensive line is pretty bad and will have a lot of trouble with Fletcher Cox and friends. Daniel Jones has struggled mightily and there is little running game to speak of at this point.
I love that the Eagles let Jalen Hurts spread his wings a bit last week and do what he does best. Run the ball while mixing in some passes. He managed 18 carries or 69 yards and three touchdowns as the Eagles were rewarded for their faith.
The Giants' offense isn’t bad, but I don’t think they have the skill or the fight to deal with a unique offense such as this. The Eagles will cover this game and send the Giants tumbling further into the basement of the NFC.
Prediction: Eagles -3
