The Philadelphia Eagles (2-4) will fly into Allegiant Stadium to take on the Las Vegas Raiders (4-2) in Week 7.

The Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6, 28-22. While the score looks like a close game, it really wasn’t, with Tampa Bay holding a 28-7 lead late in the third quarter. The Buccaneers would take their foot off the gas and allow Philadelphia to score 15 unanswered points for the backdoor cover on the seven-point spread.

Las Vegas started the post-Jon Gruden-era in style, interim head coach Rich Bisaccia picking up a win against the division rival Denver Broncos last week, 34-24. The Raiders were 5-point underdogs on the road, but won by 10 as their offense played efficiently and their defense stepped up to win the turnover battle, with four takeaways to none.

Eagles vs. Raiders Prediction and Pick

Both Philadelphia and Las Vegas stack up pretty close statistically on defense. Both have good passing defenses, and suspect rushing defenses. But on offense, the Raiders’ passing attack has been miles ahead of the Eagles’.

Jalen Hurts has been wildly inconsistent under center for Philadelphia, throwing for just 115 passing yards last week, but throwing for 387 yards in Week 4. Hurts also leads the Eagles in rushing yards, so too much has been asked from a signal caller that may not even be a franchise quarterback.

I don't know if this is a head coach Nick Sirianni problem or a Jalen Hurts problem, but it needs sorted out fast. This offense is a mess.

I’m taking the Raiders on the spread at -3.0.
