Elina Svitolina stunned the Wimbledon crowd by defeating World No. 1 Iga Swiatek in the quarterfinals to advance to her second semifinals at the All Engalnd Club.

Svitolina has won 13 of 15 matches since returning from time off to have a child and has been on a roll at Wimbledon, capped by the upset against Swiatek. However, can she keep her level high against rising 24-year-old Marketa Vondrousova.

Vondrousova took time away from tennis a year ago for wrist surgery is looking to make her second grand slam final after making the French Open final in 2019.

Here are the odds for the surprising semifinal matchup on Thursday:

Elina Svitolina vs. Marketa Vondrousova prediction and pick

Both of these players have been coming up big when its mattered most in surprising runs. Svitolina has faced a tiebreak and a third set in her last four matches and sometimes both, while Vondrousova rallied from down a break in the third set to beat Jessica Pegula last round (that included a third set rain delay).

There isn't much separating the two players, but I do believe that we see another long match between the two. While the two haven't played since 2021, the two have played four full matches against one another, splitting the meetings.

Svitolina's serve has been hit or miss during this fortnight, she had nine double faults in the quarterfinals and only got her first serve in 57% of the time, but Vondrousova has put herself in a ton of precarious, including 11 break points in her quarterfinal victory.

I'm going to opt for another lengthy match on Thursday and take the over games.

PICK: OVER 22.5 (-105)
