English Premier League Odds: Now's the Time to Take Chelsea

If there was ever a time to jump on the Chelsea bandwagon, it would be now. 

Prior to the season starting, Chelsea was +500 to win the English Premier League, while Manchester City was the overwhelming favorite at -130 to win it all. However, City stumbled in its season opening match against Tottenham Hotspur, losing 1-0. Chelsea, on the other hand, started off on the right foot beating up on lowly Crystal Palace, 3-0.

Although dominating a team that is just trying to fight off relegation isn’t something to throw a parade about, pairing it with a Manchester City loss shows that City is still regarded as the favorite, but is more vulnerable than we thought.

The next match for Chelsea is against Arsenal, who lost to Brentford in its first match. A win would put Chelsea on a great path to bringing the trophy home. 

Chelsea has been around the top of the league for several years now, and they could be a great play now to win it all if City struggles again.
