In what is one of the most anticipated fights of 2022, Errol Spence Jr. takes on Yordenis Ugas in a title unification bout.

Spence Jr., who hasn't fought since defeating Danny Garcia in December of 2020, will put his WBC and IBF welterweight titles on the line against Ugas as he puts up his own WBA (Super) welterweight title.

Ugas stepped in to fight Manny Pacquiao last August in place of Spence Jr., who had to withdraw from his bout with Pacquiao due to an injury. Ugas went on to defeat Pacquiao via unanimous decision, and now looks to unify the belts against Spence Jr.

The fight will take place on April 16th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for this Saturday's bout.

Errol Spence Jr. vs. Yordenis Ugas Prediction

Errol Spence Jr. is a big favorite, and for good reason. He's 27-0 in his career, with 21 knockouts. Don't let his time off fool you, all reports indicate that he's going to be in fantastic shape heading into this fight and his partnership with his new trainer is stronger than ever.

Spence has an advantage in two major areas when I'm evaluating a fight; Age and reach. The old adage is that speed leaves first with age, so in the smaller weightclasses, like Welterweight, I start to stay away from betting on boxers once they hit 35 years old, which happens to be the exact age of Ugas.

Even more important, Spence Jr. has a significant reach advantage in this fight. He has a reach of 72 inches, which is over 3 inches longer than Ugas' reach.

It's Spence Jr. or nothing for me.

Pick: Errol Spence Jr. -480
