Every ACC Team's Predicted Win Total for 2022 Season: Banner Year in Store for North Carolina State?
By Reed Wallach
Clemson was knocked off their pedestal in 2021, missing the ACC Championship game for the first time since 2014. Is this the beginning of a changing of the guard in the conference, or a blip for Dabo Swinney and co.
There are plenty of exciting teams in the ACC, but Clemson remains the odds on favorite to win the conference title. However, another team from the Atlantic Division lurks, the North Carolina State Wolfpack.
Will Dave Doeren's team get over the hump with their lofty win total, or will Clemson reestablish themselves as the class of the conference. What about in the Coastal, where Mario Cristobal joins the fray to reignite Miami?
Here are the projected win totals for each ACC team:
2022 ACC Win Totals
- Boston College: 6.5 (Over +115/Under -135)
- Clemson: 10.5 (Over +105/Under -125)

Is North Carolina State a Worthy Challenger to Clemson?
The Wolfpack were able to knock off Clemson in overtime last season and just missed out on the ACC Championship game, but there are lofty expectations in Raleigh in 2022 with quarterback Devin Leary back in the fold.
Leary had the 10th most passing touchdowns in the country last season, 35, and only tossed five interceptions. The team has one of the best defenses in the ACC and have a win total that is two wins higher than last seasons, sitting at 8.5 with a heavy premium on the over (-165).
The Wolfpack travel to Clemson on October 1st in a game that could determine who goes to the ACC Championship game. The Tigers have a win total of 10.5, with odds favoring the under.
It's worth noting that a team like NC State faces Wake Forest at home this season, who will be without star quarterback Sam Hartman for an extended period of time after it was announced he will be out with a non-football related condition.
The Demon Decans had a win total of 8.5 before the news of Hartman, who was a finalist for countless quarterback awards last season as Wake made the ACC Championship.
