Most teams have played between 45-50 games so far this season, which is slightly past the quarter mark of the campaign.

Every week, we publish our MLB Power Rankings to keep you updated on the best teams in the league, but how do oddsmakers see things going the rest of this season?

WynnBET’s latest World Series odds gives us an inside glimpse into who is expected to make a deep run in the playoffs and which teams need to step up their play heading into June.

Yankees, Dodgers Favored to Face Off in World Series

The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers have the two best records in baseball, and oddsmakers think that puts them on a collision course for a World Series matchup.

There are still several contenders in both the National League and American League, and the Yankees have a tough path in the AL East with four teams that should have a chance at a playoff spot.

The Dodgers won the World Series in the COVID-shortened 2020 season, but they were bounced in the playoffs by the eventual World Series champion Atlanta Braves last season.

The Yankees, who lost in the wild card round in 2021, are off to a great start in 2022 because of their pitching staff, as Luis Severino, Nestor Cortes and Jameson Taillon have all been fantastic through the first two months.

There is still plenty of value in some teams like the Braves, who are off to a slow start, where bettors shouldn’t feel like they have to bet the favorites this early into the season.
