The NBA offseason is upon us, and we’re going to have a long wait until the 2022-23 season compared to the previous two offseasons.

With the NBA playing the end of the 2019-20 season in the league’s Orlando, Fla. bubble and subsequently starting the 2020-21 season late, it’s been a long time since we had a full summer without basketball.

For NBA junkies such as myself, that means the offseason rumor mill, Summer League, NBA Draft and more will have to keep us occupied until games resume in October.

The other thing that can keep us occupied in the futures market, as WynnBET Sportsbook has released its latest odds for who will win the NBA title in the 2022-23 season.

The defending champion Golden State Warriors are the favorite, but we mentioned a surprise team that was also in the running when the odds first came out.

Here’s a look at the NBA Finals odds for every NBA team as we gear up for the offseason:

Utah Jazz Expected to Take Major Step Back

The Utah Jazz have been a perennial playoff team in the Western Conference, but with Quin Snyder stepping down and rumors that Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert could be traded, the oddsmakers have dropped Utah all the way to +6000 to win the title in the 2022-23 season.

It’s an easy drop, as the Jazz haven’t made the Western Conference Finals with this current core anyway.

Los Angeles Lakers Back in Playoff Picture?

The Los Angeles Lakers missed the playoffs in the 2021-22 season, but they are expected to be back in contention at +1800 odds.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis missed large portions of the 2021-22 season with injuries, but the Lakers lack roster flexibility this offseason unless they trade Russell Westbrook.
